Established by Ahmad Zukhi and Kak Ani in 1972, the restaurant was originally renowned under the name Zakini Nasi Kukus and was later renamed Warisan Nasi Kukus by Nasir, son of the founder.

The dedicatedly designed recipes made Nasir able to further develop his parent’s legacy. He wishes to expand his business so people can have a taste of the original flavor of nasi kukus, Malaysian steamed rice with fried chicken.
